Canada's national broadcaster, CBC, recently launched a new
40 channel Internet streaming music service.
My squeezebox can easily find and even
Memorize as favorites any of these channels: but it won't play them.
Instead it tells me they are not available in my country !!!
What **bleep** foolishness !
What can i do to solve this issue ????

I am very sorry for any inconvenience of this, but it has been reported to our Product specialist and it is being looked into by our engineers. This may take some time as they may have to contact CBC's engineers about this.

Same happening to me in Canada. It i doubly frustrating because CBC is pretty much all i listen to an my SB Radio.
Please keep us in formed as to any progress,
PS i realize that CBC is probably to blame.

I have had the same problem - I love the new CBC music channels, I want to listen to them on my Squeezebox Radio but I can't. I believe they are "geo-fenced" - i.e. the CBC does not have the copyright to stream music outside of Canada, so if your IP address isn't Canadian, you can't play them. The problem is, I AM IN CANADA. My Squeezebox is being served by my Rogers internet account. So why can't I hear the music?
I CAN hear the new CBC Music channels on my computer, my iPhone and my iPad - but not my Squeezebox. ERGO - must be Squeezebox's problem.
COULD SOMEONE PLEASE LOOK AT THIS? THERE MUST BE LOTS OF PEOPLE LIKE ME OUT THERE.

Just to add.. this has not been solved. Still a Squeezebox problem. Can hear CBC Music channels on computer, iPhone, iPad.. but not on Squeezebox. The CBC server thinks Squeezebox is coming from an American IP address, so won't play music which isn't copyright-cleared for streaming in the U.S.
Please fix, Logitech and Squeezebox!

I too have been waiting patiently for the resolution of this problem. The CBC app gives me an error - '403 Forbidden' and searching 'World' radio stations for CBC Music gets a 'No items found' error. I really don't care whose fault it is, CBC's or Logitech's - I just want it fixed!
Reading the complaints about Logitech's customer service or lack of, distresses me. How basic is it to want to keep customers loyal?

I am also getting this error on my new Squeezebox. Is there anything new on resolving this issue? I can't seem to find anything. It's very frustrating. Why is the App still available if it doesn't work??
