Squeezebox radio - no audio

I just bought a Squeezebox radio. The unit can tune into radio stations (it displays the name of the station and the show) but there is no audio. I've reset to factory settings but that hasn't worked. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks.

what happens if you plug headphones into the headphone jack on the side. Do you hear anything? I can't recall if the volume button is multifunction, but you should see the volume go up on the screen when turning up the volume. Do you see this?

Thanks Gary. The volume indicator does show up. I've also tried headphones but there's still no sound.

very odd. I assume you've tried different sources (radio stations, pandora, etc.). Have you installed Logitech Media Server (LMS) on a local computer? If not, install this, add a few local songs to the library, and then connect the radio to LMS (click on "my music" in Radio menu and it should offer up the option of switching to your local LMS.

You may need to call logitech support and have them walk through things with you. Either it is totally broken or something very simple. sorry to not have any other ideas.

I downloaded LMS and now everything, including internet radio, is working. Thanks Gary!

great. Although it is odd that you couldn't get it to work with only mysqueezebox.com. You might switch back to mysb.com and see if it works now. (p.s., for me, I always have LMS running on my local machine so I never have the need to switch to mysb.com.....you can do anything with LMS that you can do with mysb.com, plus play your own music.

Happened to me sometimes. Reboot (power down and up) will fix it.
