Squeezebox Players

What I want to do is fall asleep while listening to content on my Mac, streaming via Logitech Media Server. I have that working well, no problems.

Then I want to wake up to a streaming radio station saved as a Favorite. This won't work if the Library selected was on my computer, like when I fell asleep. The alarm just defaults to a system alarm since it can't find the streaming radio station.

It appears that I have to actually cycle power on the SB Radio to get it to switch from a Library back to content at mysqueezebox.com like streaming radio stations.

Is this expected operation or am I doing something wrong?  Thanks.

Yes, the computer is going to sleep at night, but the wifi network is always up. So the morning alarm should be able to find my Favorites, or so I thought.

Your Radio is trying to go back to the server it was last connected too, which is LMS on your computer.  But it is not there because the computer is now sleeping.  Players don't automatically connect to other servers if one server is not found.

Some options are to setup WOL on the computer (if it has that feature) or switch the Radio to MySB.com before going to bed.  You can switch to MySB.com right from the Home menu if you set it up to do so.

Radio > Settings > Advanced > Networking > "Switch to MySB.com", press the "+" button and select Add to Home menu.

I do have WOL working but that doesn't get me back to MySB.com on wakeup.

I did add a button to switch to MySB.com to the Home menu, and that's an improvement, although I still can't fall asleep to LMS and wake to MySB.com. Thanks for the help.

There is (was?) a Plugin called SvrPowerCtrl you can use on LMS to automatically switch your player to MySB.com when your LMS server was not available.  I don't know how well it works or if it is even still supported (may have only been for the older SBS server program later replaced by LMS).  But you can read all about it here:
