Squeezebox Players

I currently have 2 Squeezebox Duet receivers that I control with the Logitech Duet controller or Apps on my iPhone. Unfortunately at the weekend one of them packed up (it won't switch on. I've tried the other receivers power supply, but to no effect.) So it looks like I'm going to need to get a new receiver however with the Duet now discontinued, it looks like my only option is to buy a Touch receiver. My question is, will the two receivers (my old Duet and a new Touch) be compatible?

Yes. The controllers (and Apps) will control any Squeezebox model and you can sync thme all up.

The Touch has more capabilities (file formats, supported services etc.) than the Receiver so not everything that works on the Touch will necessarily work on the old receivers but the other way around you will not have issues.
