Hello,

The WIFI installation CD-ROM I had from the provider has a 9 character code consisting of a combination of numbers and letters. But I can't see how to I can type the code into the SB Boom either directly or via the remote ?

Can anyone tell me how ?

When you get to the menu item for entering your code, on the boom you use the large center knob to scroll until you get the number/letter you want then push the knob and it will move to next letter. When you have entered last letter/number I recall that you just push the knob again and it moves to next menu item.

Thanks, but it does not work on my SB Boom.

When "Enter your WPA2 password" appears I turn the center knob but this has no effect.

After a few seconds the display goes black and then the start-up comes again with the set-up of the WiFi.

Maybe it's faulty - I will try to speak to Logitech.

what happens when you get to "enter wpa password" and instead of turning knob, you PUSH the knob. Does this take you to the place where you can then turn knob to add numbers?

By pressing the center knob I get the message "WPA password is too short - Left to go back" so no joy there.

how about when you get to the message asking you to enter password, you hit the "right arrow" (just to the left of the knob). I have a feeling it is something simple that's being missed. I don't recall having any issues with my two booms.

No it does not react to pressing the "right" arrow.

hmmm, I'm stumped. Best bet is to actually call logitech help line and someone can walk you through the process.
