Working solution: mms support on Squeezebox Player

You need install Squeezebox Server to get it work:

1) If you install Squeezebox Server on Windows:

As squeezeit said in another post:

SBS Web UI > Settings > Advanced > File Types > Windows Media > Windows Media > set to Disabled

2) If you install Squeezebox Server on Linux (e.g.. Dockstar Debian NAS):

a) SBS Web UI > Settings > Advanced > File Types > Windows Media > Windows Media > set to Disabled

b) SBS Web UI > Settings > Plugins > Check "show all 3rd party plugins", Apply. Then install "Play Windows Media" or "Play WMA". Apply. Install update if any.

c) Install MPlayer. In Dockstar Debian NAS, the command is

    apt-get install madplay mplayer

d) Restart your Linux box.

Then in SBS Web UI > Internet Radio > Turn in URL, input your mms url such as

mms://live.cri.cn/oldies.wsx

Enjoy.
