in the past week, my touch works great and i could listen to France and UK internet radios in China. However, after upgrade to 7.7.2 r9663 firmware, today I could not listen to overseas radio but could only listen to China internet radios?

Is this a common bug?

And how I could change back to the previous firmware?

You can use a previous LMS server version on your computer which will downgrade the player firmware:

Whether that will solve your issue is unknown.  Also, if you then connect to MySB.com online (no computer needed) you will be prompted to update again.  You can dismiss this prompt with a simple L to R swipe on the Touch's screen, but it will bug you repeatedly to update.

Install the LMS server program, launch LMS server (should launch itself after install), connect player to server via Home Menu > My Music, player should prompt you to update (or down grade in your case).  There is a way to force the update/downgrade if needed, but this should not be necessary.

 No need to through all that. Just put the BIN file on a SD card or a USB thumb drive and plug it into the Touch. Then in the settings choose the Update software option and then point it to the file on the Thumb drive or SD card. Easy Peasy

I have also gone back to the 7.7.1 firmware. Is there any simple way to stop the annoying attempts of the SB Touch to upgrade to 7.7.2? It keeps on prompting me to upgrade. I won't let it - until Logitech produce something that actually works BETTER than 7.7.1 - but the messages get on my nerves.

When is it prompting you to update?  If while on LMS then turn off LMS > Settings > Advanced > Software Updates >  *disable* both check & download updates.   If it happens when you switch between LMS and MySB.com that cannot be stopped.  Either don't switch between them or continue to ignore the update propmts.

I'm always run into trouble with 7.7.2, maybe also because my router isn't so smart, I had tried all setting I can, DNS, Static IP....etc

nothing can help.

just update the firmware and will get luch for a while.
