Enter "WLW" (Cincinnati) My radio has a voice that says "this station is unavailable in this country", then "not supported" then I get a "404 error". What the heck? so now that Clear Channel has dumped their individual WMA links to local stations, I can no longer listen to any Clear Channel station by doing a search? I even tried loading them into another app, but that doesn't work either. Plain and simple, Logitech, have you ABANDONED YOUR CUSTOMERS by NOT PROVIDING AN APP for iHeartRadio.com ?? So now I can't use my radio in a 'stand-alone mode' without having it connected to some server somewhere to be able to listen to WLW in Cincinnati, which IS in the USA? Do I have to sell this radio and buy a Grace radio to get iHeartRadio support?

Hello johnnyelectron,
I am sorry to hear that one of your favorite channels no longer works with your Squeezebox Radio. In recent months Clear Channel has moved all their channels to iHeartRadio. As this is a web based flash player it does not work with our players, though some users on our Third Party forums ( http://forums.slimdevices.com ) have found work arounds for this though it is not supported by us.
As said in the past, we do not make our Apps. The Apps are made by the companies who proved the services and then they work with our engineers for maintenance. If you would like to see an iHeartRadio App it would be best to contact iHeartRadio because then if they see that there is a need for this they may consider making an App for our devices or contacting our Engineers. You can also fill out a product survey that will be sent to the development team as well so they know this is a feature our users would like to see. The link for the survey is www.logitech.com/ithink .

It looks like your firmware / software update issued 3/27/2012 allows you to manually enter ClearChannel stations, and now I CAN get about 75% of them again! Thanks! This is an improvement - let you boss know that I'm happy that you've addressed this issue and it's close to perfect!

How does one determine the format to manually enter an iHeart station? Do you go to the iHeart website and listen live on the pc, copying the internet address? I did this and received an message that the format may result in the station not playing on the SBB radio.

I'm able to do a "search" with the radio call letters, and over half work; BUT, I still get a lot of the recording "this station is not available in your country" and 404 errors; BUT it is somewhat better than before, which was nothing. Still NOT a true "iHeartRadio" app like the Grace radio has, so I guess we all need to keep filling out a survey asking Logitech to work with Clear Channel Radio to make an "iHeartRadio" application together.

I have been watching this board for sometime in the hopes that an iHeartRadio app was coming soon. I find it troubling that we haven't seen an App by now. I let iHeartRadio know about it and here is what they told me last month.
Thanks for your interest in learning about the availability of iHeartRadio stations on Squeezebox Radio. At this time, we are not compatible with this device. Please stay tuned for any future updates.

So Logitech must be getting out of the business, why else would they let customers waste $200 on a radio that goes to cr8p because they're too lazy to work as a team with another company to write some code to allow one of the 5 major apps to work?
Logitech AND Clear Channel are both way down my list...

If the problem rests with iheartradio we should add our opinion to their forums as well. Here is a link to add your request for a squeezebox app on the iheartradio forums.

Is the software upgrade downloaded automatically? If not how do we download the upgrade? I too miss the Clearwater stations.
