Hello RC63,

Just checking to see if you were successful in getting your Duet to work in Bridge Mode.

Re: new router - cannot connect SB duet receiver

No it does not work. I had already tried that. I typically exhaust all options before contacting support.

I am disappointed that I could not get level two support on this. With all due respect, I don't think "try until it works" is actually tech support (it is based on the anecdote from one customer). And that customer's experience (no router modifications) runs counter to what I was told (open up router ports, etc.).

Now the reciever light flashes red and I can't get it out of that mode no matter what...so the first step is to get it back to a "normal" operating mode so I can reconnect it to my old router and return the Cisco E4200. They have no interest in support consumer level products.

Re: new router - cannot connect SB duet receiver

Hi Kiruban,

I ve got the same problem with my Duet.  I am using a Belkin N modem.  I ve followed the instructions you provided .. but no luck.  When I check my clients on my router, the controller is visible but i can t see the player.

Any suggestions?

Thanks

Make sure your devices are not connecting to the "guest" portion of the Belkin N router.

Re: new router - cannot connect SB duet receiver

Sure the router is set to G?  Or N+G?  Tried with no security features enabled?  MAC filtering?  Max # of connected devices exceeded?

Re: new router - cannot connect SB duet receiver

Hi,

Set to G

WPA Security

MAC addresses for controller and player "Enabled"

GOt only 3 devices hanging off the unit.

Now i ve connected it wired - no luck either

MY SB Classic connects fine not the Duet.

Getting quite tired (understatement obviously :smileysad:)
