Re: spotify through transporter

The official logitech spotify app only works for the TOUCH or RADIO. But you can instead install Triode's 3rd Party Spotify Plugin (at webGUI, LMS > SETTINGS > PLUGINS  (make sure that show all 3rd party plugins option is checked). Obviously, you must be using LMS on your local computer. This 3rd party plugin doesn't work on mysqueezebox.com.  If you want a similar music service that *will* work on mysqueezebox.com, you might consider MOG instead as it works woth all SB players.

I control my Transporter (and all my SB players) with both iPengHD and SqueezePad on my iPad. You don't need both, but I like them both for different reasons.

Re: spotify through transporter

I don't believe you can navigate on the Spotify site and have it play on your SqueezeBox.

Ah, correct. I didn't even think the OP was trying to do that, but in rereading that may be the case. I assumed someone with a Transporter was generally familiar with the workings of SbS/LMS, etc.    ;-)

Yes, the OP must install triode's 3rd Party Spotify app on LMS running on his local computer in order to get Spotify out of his transporter.
