I've had my G25 less than a month now and noticed that it is erratic in the following way:
When I first got it, I set the rotation limit for 270 degrees for all games (F1 Challenge, GTR2, rFactor, GT Legends). I found the limit setting was respected as the wheel would not turn past 270 degrees -- the motors would stop rotation.
Now, I find that the wheel respects the limit in a different way. Rather than stopping rotation, the wheel continues, but the game stops registering the rotation beyond the limit. At the rotation limit point, I feel a small increase in resistance, but nothing that you would notice while playing. The same behaviour happens in Control Panel > Game Controllers.
I'm not 100% sure how it "should" work, but the new way is pretty annoying in that when I'm racing, I keep turning and it takes a second to realize that the turning is no longer being registered.
Could anyone with a G25 indicate how their wheel behaves and if it is consistent?
I'd hate to have to return it. BTW, I have current wingman software and the behaviour is the same whether or not the profiler is running.
Thanks!

Anyone out there able to report how their wheel works?
Can anyone from Logitech let us know how it is supposed to work given these two different experiences?

It's just that before that sense of hitting that rotation limit was quite noticeable: I'm driving, turning the wheel and it stops. There was no need to think about whether I had passed the rotation limit.
Now, a part of my conscious mind has to be waiting for the small increase in resistance to recognize that I've hit and passed the stop.
Is that clear?
Thanks Logitech for weighing in. Any suggestions?

- Shut down any apps running in the background to see if one is conflicting
- Disconnect other USB devices to see if there is a conflict there
- If you are going through a USB hub, try connecting directly to the port on your computer.
