Installation problems with Extreme 3D Pro

I purchased the Extreme 3D Pro today, and brought it home to install. The drivers seem to install correctly, but when I try to detect it, it shows nothing plugged in. When I go into my Device Manager, it shows the joystick, but there is an exclaimation point over it, and it has also detected 2 "Logitech Virtual Hid Device". Earlier, I tried to go through the Windows automatic installer, and it said "Data is invalid"

Does anyone know what the devil is wrong? I've always had good experiences with Logitech products before, so this is dis heartening. Thank you.

Re: Installation problems with Extreme 3D Pro

When you say it doesn't detect the joystick, is that only in the Logitech Profiler or is it not detected in Game Controllers in the Windows control panel too?

Are you running any No CD patches for Starforce Protection?

That's in the actual Logitech configuration program after it installs the drivers. I just uninstalled the joystick and those other 2 devices through the Device manager, after I had unplugged the joystick. I re-plugged it back in, and the automatic installer came back saying that it couldn't install the joystick because "Data is invalid".

Re: Installation problems with Extreme 3D Pro

I tried to plug in an Attack 3, and the exact same problem. It's giving me a "data is invalid" message when it tries to install.
