Steering Wheels - Joysticks - Headsets - Gamepads

My mac book is unable to recognize the logitech gamepad. from what I read, the logitech game pad can only work if a game is able to notice it as a compatible device. Is there a way around the system to get my games to recognize the controller, and or my MAC to recognize the gamepad as a functional device?

What gamepad do you use? What kind of Mac OsX?

I can see that

Cordless Rumblepad™ 2
needs mac osX 10.5 or later

Chillistream does not support Macintosh
