Using Logitech steering wheel for Richrad Burns rally on PC

Hi, I've just installed Richard Burns rally on my PC and I wan't to use my logitech steering wheel for it (the wheel is quite a new one, it has a gear stick to the right hand side), but when trying to play the game with it, it does not work. When connected to the PC it says the hardware is installed, the wheel moves from side to side indicating that it is working, but when I try to play the game with it nothing happens, also the controls menu on Richard Burns rally where it says about the steering wheel it is'nt highlighted so you can't go to it. Can anyone help me?

 Thanks.

Re: Using Logitech steering wheel for Richrad Burns rally on PC

Hello Tygra. I also tried installing Richard Burns on one computer and ran immediately into problems. Then I upgraded with a patch and got it working. I remember this game is quite old now so it is a risiko for that it is not configured or compatible with the latest steering wheels. Anyway, try update the game. If you are lucky it helps.

Re: Using Logitech steering wheel for Richrad Burns rally on PC

Hi citygbg, thanks for replying. I just thought I have Richard Burns Rally for the PS2 and my wheel works fine on that, I actually have a PS3 and I play on that with it and RBR. I've emailed Sold out software and posted on Blackhole motorsports with my question; hopefully I will have an answer soon!!
