Ooopsy, I haven't checked this site for about six months and here you go! 
Actually Logitech has no intention to do anything about this as the number of complaints (and returns) has not reached a certain limit. Most of the users do not experience it because they keep the USB plugged in. The USB cable has grounding shield and that grounds the wheel's metal parts to the PC house, which is also grounded. No issues, everyone is happy. If you unplug the USB (the grounding), the potential rises in the pedals and that is what you feel when you touch it.
There are 3 issues: the G25 is not shielded properly, the powercord is not grounded by design (I know it is not necessary because it is a low voltage device, but what perceptively penetrates human skin is not low voltage... :-) ) and Logitech does not admit the design/manufacturing fault.
They are not stup1d. They likely know about the issue, but it is not worth putting too much work in this project as G25 is still selling well and only a handful of users found this problem.
If only 1 user reports it out of 100 then it is considered to be a user error, thus nothing needs to be done. It's simply not worth fixing it, redesign the whole manufacturing process, admit the error and recall hundreds of wheels. It is not just a driver issue that can be updated. Remember what Tyler said on the airplane to the lady in FightClub about car manufactures: "A times B times C equals X. If X is less than the cost of a recall, we don't do one."
Sorry for putting it this way and I'm not blaming the colleagues here in the forum, but that is just it.
