Logitech Z10 speakers

I purchased my Logiteck Z10 speakers from Amazon.co.uk on the 20th November 2008. They were great, easy to install and the sound is spot on, I changed to to Vista and now my speakers won't work, I can't send them back to Amazon as they worked well, having changed to Vista these speakers are no longer fit for purpose so can I have a refund on the grounds of neglect by Logitech. I have e mailed them three times, received an automated e mail saying I could expect a reply within 24 hours, no reply has arrived from Logitech.

Their support and ability to do what they say is deplorable, I have Logitech mice and keyboards and they have been great, no more will I ever by anything thay bears the logo Logitech. Why don't you digital extractum please

I have just got a new computer with windows 7 x64, but want to keep my z10 speakers because i think they are great but I cant get the software to work, clock displaying wrong time and date, have downloaded ver 1.04 but still no joy is there a version that will work with windows 7 or is a new version coming out soon.

Re: Logitech Z10 speakers

Hmmmmm....

I suspect there's a "run in compatibility mode" option on windows 7 (there is on XP), where you can select the operating system the program or anything else "sees".

I'm struggling to understand exactly what the problem is...

Hi

Ok well the speakers themselves work, but the display on the speakers is wrong it gives the date and time inncorrectley, it picks up the time and date from the computer which is correct so therefore the software is not working I  have the latest version of the software and installed it but it still doesn;t work, have tryed it in compatability mode still not working hope this makes more sence .

Re: Logitech Z10 speakers

Sounds like it's a problem in the speakers themselves... I expect the problem will be solved soon. I'm not 100% sure, but can you update the software installed on the actual speakers? Perhaps logitech has issued a patch to sort this.

Re: Logitech Z10 speakers

I'm running an Asus Win7 64bit home premium notebook and like previous posters wanted to use my trusty Z-10's, however I'm struggling. I've upgraded from XPP where I had no prior problems with the speakers.

Installed lzs104_x64 file as suggested by the web site.

LCD on, click and hum of speakers on.

No sound getting through, (tried messing with lots of sound options)

The touch LCD panel is acting odd. Power button works, 'level' button works, I can change the bass and treble output. Cannot change volume and no other buttons seem responsive.

Rebooted, uninstalled software, rebooted again, re-installed software = no difference.

Oddly the speakers are defaulting to the static 'performance' screen.

Can anyone help a frustrated Midlands man?
