USB Speakers (READ ONLY ARCHIVE)

My problem: The speakers stopped working after i turned on a electric motor (like my ceiling-fan) near the speakers.

Cause: Electromagnetic "radiaton" emitted from the ceiling fan and other devices (when turned on). Note: There were no spikes on the electric net.

Solution: I removed my extended usb cable(6 meters), and replaced the whole cable with a shorter (2 meter) thicker and shielded usb cable. The one provided by Logitech is no good. You need shielding like this:

No longer than 5 meters.
