USB Speakers (READ ONLY ARCHIVE)

Hi,

I have a Dell inspiron 1525 laptop and when i plug the logitech audiohub into the laptop it recognises that it is there- it installed the drivers automatically and the volume button is lit up orange on the hub, however there is a red cross next to the main volume icon on the main toolbar.

the laptop is not muted and when i disconnect the audiohub he cross goes away. i have tried changing the settings, but the device manager and the sound properties say that the audiohub is working.

i have also tried the hub on a diff laptop and it works fine.

please help
