Problem installing S-150 USB speakers

Hello,

I am having trouble getting my S-150 USB speakers installed on my HP system, which runs Windows 7. I got a message that the USB driver didn't install when I plugged the speakers in to my USB port. In addition, my monitor speakers, which were not that loud before are now barely audible at maximum level. Any ideas?

Thanks,

John

Re: Problem installing S-150 USB speakers

Reinstall USB driver

  1. Right-click the iPod's entry in Device Manager and choose Uninstall from the shortcut menu.

  2. In the resulting dialog box, click OK.
  3. In the Device Manager window, right-click Universal Serial Bus controllers and choose Scan for hardware changes from the shortcut menu.

Windows automatically reinstalls the necessary USB drivers

This off Apple's site but it works for all USB devices.
