A user posted this:
After a long search i discovered what causes these problems on my computers. I have one AMD desktop and one INTEL notebook and on both comptuters the AK 5370 went searching for drivers. The computers have both Windows XP and SP3.
The solution: After installing SP3 the following file is changed; System32/inf/wdma_usb.inf becomes wdma_usb.bak. Change it back to inf and you have a perfect working AK5370.

This will apply to all USB audio devices. |

Back in 2006 I remember doing that, funny how everything old becomes new again eh?
But the files in question are located (the default path anyways) in /Windows/INF. The INF folder is hidden so you will need to ensure the 'show hidden files and folders' button is selected in folder options.

Assume that this inf is also required for the V20 speakers?
I have a Dell Optiplex 360 purchased in January 2010 with Win 7 downgraded to XP for an OS. I have done searches for the wdma_usb.inf but it does not appear to be anywhere on my C:/ drive.
