USB Speakers (READ ONLY ARCHIVE)

I've used Z-5 speakers for about 6 months, and they are suddenly inoperative. I have Windows XP Pro. All cables are good and tight. They included a rather useless program called SRS WOW, but I don't see it now. Could this be the problem? And if so, how do I get it back without paying around $30.00 for it (more than the speakers!).
