Ok so yesterday I got my Z Cinema speakers for my 64 bit Home Vista computer.
They worked excellent! Sounded great! And I had them nicely customized and playing music via remote from accross the room.
So today I turn on my computer and guess what! They don't work at all! They'll play the introductory windows turn-on sound and thats all! Furthermore when I attempt to open iTunes or ANY sound software they either won't open at all, or instantly crash! Plus I can't use the remote to adjust sound anymore! I've already attempted reinstalling everything, and looking online for solutions for hours, and am extremely discouraged.
Yesterday = 100% fine Today = 0% Acceptable, and no ability to run any music related software!
Inbetween the only thing I think could have messed anything up is an improper shut down (the speakers were off during it). Now I'm getting a debugging message (error in line 215), though the Z cinema software still opens and looks like it SHOULD work, it doesn't. And iTunes will not open.
Help very much appreciated! I'm very frusterated because I know these speakers work fine and sound great on my computer, and now I can't get a peep from them! Help thanks!

I had to funnily enough, because the installation CD-ROM wasn't recognized by my computer.
I also used these files to 'repair' the installation but no luck.

Also I want to again clarify the problem is technical and not the speakers themselves.
Even if I go onto a website and attempt to stream video or flash files the browser will stop responding.

Hi,
Try this:
Disconnect the Z Cinema from the computer.
Go to System Restore, chose a date before the install of the Z Cinema software. Restore the system.
Connect all the speakers, plug into the AC, connect to computer.
Install newest Z Cinema software.
Let me know how you make out.

No that did not solve it. And I must say my system is incredibly messed since the speakers went haywire. Just like iTunes when I try to open it, System Restore would show in the Processes list but not actually pop up. For some reason I got it to actually open on the millionth try. Restored the system, re-plugged in, reinstalled, and after the restart after installing the latest software off the logitech site the system is messed again.
Again, for some reason the software worked fine yesterday. Right now I can open and run Z Cinema and adjust the volume with the remote, but it says no player detected and all players when I open them are unresponsive or crash, including browsers when playing sound.

Also, I found it odd that it listed this driver install package the 26th which was the date the speakers stopped working. The 25th I originally installed the speakers and software and everything worked fine.

I think you should uninstall your current Zcinema software and download from website for 64 bit version..
probably your CD is 32 bit version.

No... the CD-ROM I had wouldn't even boot.
I have downloaded the latest 64 bit software from the site like I already said.

Okay I am getting extremely frusterated by the total lack of support I'm getting.
My entire system is completely screwed because of this problem, its not only the fact that I'm not getting sound!!
Heres the situation again bluntly (and after even more troubleshooting):\
I Install the speakers and they work fine, I install the software and it works fine! Now the problem is whenever I put my computer to sleep or restart it when I get back into windows: No sound, Many audio related programs crash, browsers crash with audio or video, and best of all! Some applications in general will show in the Process list but not actually open: INCLUDING SYSTEM RESTORE.
So right now I'm using a system COMPLETLEY SCREWED, NO SOUND, and I can't even open system restore to restore it to before installation.
THIS PROBLEM IS DEFINENTLY BECAUSE OF YOUR Z CINEMA SOFTWARE, & I NEED A SOLUTION
And again the software I've been using is the latest 64 bit straight from off your site.
THANKS
