cant install s-150 speakers - xp

I have just purchased the S-150 speakers and have tried to install them.

 

i plug them in and it syas USB device not recognized (one of the USB devices attatched to this computeer has malfunctioned and windows does not recognise it)

 

i have tried to find a driver online but it says that it uses the USB drivers already part of my operating system.

 

what can i do??

I would suggest to update to service pack 3 and the problem will be resolved I
