For a piece of rubber that probably costs a 25 cent piece. Apparently I have to open up a warranty claim and fill out excessive personal info include Product Name/Color: Model Number (M/N): PID or S/N: Part Number (P/N): then make a trip to the local staples store to fax or scan my receipt as a PDF not more than 800kbs image file. All for something that was omitted during packaging. Don't want to return it but I'm getting the feeling UE or Logitech don't really care if I do or not. Sent them a very clear photo of receipt but will not respond. Does it really have to be this labor intensive? Got 12 hours out of battery the other night with 60% left over, so would love to keep it, maybe will return and wait for the next wave of them to come through.

Just a little update This never happened. Guessing it would be very difficult to get warranty support if they can't get this right. Obviously they don't have their act together in the support domain. Just around and around with emails asking if the problem was dealt with. Keep responding no, but I must be stuck on some email support loop. Anywho just returned it to the store I purchased from. Thought people should know.
I have the same problem. I bought the black UE Boom from Walmart while on vacation in Myrtle Beach in July. A friend of mine liked mine so much he recently bought one as well. That is when I noticed that there is supposed to be a port cover that comes with it. Mine apparently did not. Keep in mind I do not have the packaging and if I dig hard enough I might find the receipt. Regardless, I need this port cover. What do I need to do to get one?
