BSOD in lvuvc64.sys with Webcam Pro 9000

I've had the web cam for some months now but never had to use it until yesterday. Each time I connected video to video conferencing, I would get a BSOD after about a minute of use. I initially posted the BSOD crash dump on a Windows 7 forum and was told the cause was the web cam driver. When I bought the web cam it stated it was Win 7 compatible. I have the current driver and software. So, am I missing something and is there a fix I'm not aware of. Thanks

Hello Silent54,

What application are you using ? Does the web camera work in Logitech Webcam Software ? The Webcam Pro 9000 is compatible with Windows 7.

Re: BSOD in lvuvc64.sys with Webcam Pro 9000

I have the same issue as well. It's been going on for a while now, and up until today I could use my webcam with the logitech software as well, but today I even got a bsod when I launched the software. Usually I get bsod whenever I use the webcam the second I want to use it. Really frustrating!

Re: BSOD in lvuvc64.sys with Webcam Pro 9000

Hello ,

Please try removing your web camera and the Logitech Webcam Software and installing lws227_full.exe

Do not let it update .

Thank you. I did that earlier today and so far it seems to be working. I'll let you know if it doesn't.

Re: BSOD in lvuvc64.sys with Webcam Pro 9000

I've also been getting the BSOD.  Have fixed by uninstalling the recent update of webcam software version 2.30 and installed version 2.27.  You say not the update however when are we going to know when it is safe to do so?

Regards

John J.

Hello,

This issue is addressed in LWS 2.31. You could try updating to LWS 2.31 and see if the BSOD is no longer present.
