Video Chat Applications (Non-Logitech)

I got a Logitech C210 webcam to use for Google Video Chat and Google+ hangouts, but unfortunately, the performance on the thing is very, very poor. There's consistently choppy video, and the audio is horrid. I've done a clean install of the drivers and software and still nothing. I use Google Chrome and Internet Explorer to try out the web cam via Google Video Chat, but it's completely unusable.

Anyone else experienced this, or had a similar problem?

Have you tried your C210 with any other applications? Does your C210 work as expected when using the Logitech Webcam Software? You try your web camera here: http://www.testmycam.com/
