I just plugged my Logitech C910 HD webcam into a new Mac Pro Tower running OS 10.6.8. If I view it in Photo Booth or Skype, it shows mirror image and is unusable for my podcast show purposes because it shows text backwards. If I view it in Logitech webcam software on the same machine, it is NOT in mirror image. I cannot find any preference in Skype or Photo Booth, or under the Mac Pro's system preferences to adjust this. Any ideas from anyone?

Well, I feel stupid. I never thought to check and see if the mirror image problem was showing up for the person on the other end of the skype call. It does not. And when using a tool like Ecamm Call Recorder to record video of the skype call, my end of the call records properly, not in mirror view. So this post just solved itself, and maybe that in itself is worth something to any one else who gets a frustrated as I did over a non-problem.
