On my girlfriend's Macbook Pro she has a Logitech HD Pro C920 connected. When she chooses this device as a source in Manycam, however, she gets an error saying "can't connect to video source. Please check another video capture device." Selecting "Facetime HD Camera," the computer's internal webcam, however, works fine. The Logitech cam works just fine as a source in every other application such as Skype, Yahoo messenger and even on web-based flash applications. It's only Manycam that gives it an issue.
On my end I have an iMac with a Logitech Pro 9000 plugged in and it works just fine with Manycam.
We've tried everything. The only conclusion I can come to is that Manycam isn't compatible with her webcam That doesn't make sense though because her webcam is a newer, better quality model than mine. Unfortunately she doesn't have another webcam to test it out and I can't immediately test her webcam on my iMac.

Our Logitech C920 HD Webcam is not compatible with Mac OS. Your Logitech camera must be UVC (Universal Video Class) compliant in order to be used on your Mac OS 10.4.9 or later computer and your Logitech C920 is a UVC Compliant Camera.
However, these standard UVC drivers are provided by the operating system and will only provide minimal camera support.

Maybe another user will have a work arround or advise for Manycam.
I hope this information was helpful.
