Video Chat Applications (Non-Logitech)

Is there a way to verify /troubleshoot why B990 is encoding the video (h.264) . In my setup where i m using desktop virtualization with HP thin clients and B990 camera. Documentations tell us that B990 offload the thin client and can get 720p HD video calls .Unfortunately its getting my very low resolution.

Any insight ? would appreciate your response
