OK, so here's my issue.
When I go into Skype's options to look at the Video Settings, I can see myself through the camera with no problems. But the minute I begin a video call i get a "Problem with recording device." So the call never gets connected. So i had the person who was the recipeient of my call make a call to me. I clicked "Answer with Video" and the call opened how it is supposed to. Then down in the bottom-left hand corner where it would show a little box with my sending image in it it gives me a black box with the loading circle in it for about 2 or 3 seconds then proceeds to say "Can't connect to video recording device. Please close any programs that may be using your recording device." But i don't have a program open (and dont have another program on my computer that could use it). It worked about 4 days ago, then around the same time it kept giving me errors when trying to send video.
I found a "solution" on here about going into Device Manager -> Image Devices -> USB Visual Device and updated the drivers, restarted my PC, then the problems persisted. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
My OS is: Windows Vista 32-bit OS
