Video Chat Applications (Non-Logitech)

Recently I purchased a Logitech Webcam C270, however the built in microphone doesn't seem to work. I bought it intending to use it with friends over Skype. The mic works when I record video on the logitech area, but on skype only the video cam works. Does anyone know any possible solutions? Thank you!

Please try the following steps and see if it might resolve the issue:

-First log in to your Skype account

-Go to "Tools"

-Select "Options"

-Click "Audio Settings"

-Make sure that for microphone, the Logitech Webcam C270 is selected

-click save
