Hello,
I have 3 Logitech cameras at my disposal:
a) at work Orbit MP and Quickcam 9000 Pro testing on XP SP3 and XP SP2 x64
-Orbit MP (861207) testing now with driver QuickCam 11.1 x64 under XP SP2 x64
This camera was working great formerly on older driver under XP SP3, unfortuantely I don't know which one that was. We moved that camera to XP x64 station and installed latest available driver, but is allowing very poor resolution only, looking like overcompressed JPG effect
M/N: V-UAY22
P/N: 861207-B000
PID: LZ615BP
11.1.0.2016, XP SP2 x64
-Quickcam 9000 Pro (860-000109) tested so far with drivers: LWS 1.0 x64 & 10.5 x64; under XP SP2 x64 and XP SP3
This is new camera in our company, and so far was not yet able to see nice resolution in videotransmission (actual video is 320px over skype) under any of XP flavors and drivers tested so far.
M/N: V-UBM46
P/N: 860-000109
PID: LZ835BR
testing different drivers now under XP SP2 x64.
b) at home Quickcam 9000 Pro testing on Vista SP2 x64
This camera was working great formerly on older driver, unfortuantely I don't know which one that was. Latest available LWS 1.0 x64 is allowing very poor resolution only, looking at edges of objects all is visibly pixelated and upscaled from actual video res of 320px over skype.
I will be able to give sticker information of that camera once I return home from work.
After recent driver updates all cameras have lost HD/hi-res video mode (testing with latest Skype) and on all of them video is trasmitted in 320px res (upscaled to 640px but squares are visible, so it's 320px actual).
Any suggestions welcome!
Thanks!

Does this issue occur when you are using the camera in the Logitech supplied QuickCam software application (i.e., to create still images and/or videos), or only in your third-party Instant Messenger program?
Thanks.

just finished installing Quickcam 11.8 x64 driver on XP SP2 x64 station (at work) running Quickcam 9000 pro.
just for the record 10.5 x64 never finished installation (was detecting camera forever).
it seems that issue is exisiting in Skype with Live video transmission. I was able to play with QuickCapture and I can actually take photos up to 8MP and record movies up to 2MP ...
Strange, in past it was workign OK with skype (VGA resolution and higehr i think, transmission was sharp).

Does this issue occur when the Logitech Webcam Software (LWS) 1.00.1280 (a.k.a. QuickCam 12.00.1280) is installed?
Thanks.

yes it does, that's what i've seen at home last night under Vista SP2 x64. although I didn't test QuickCapture capabilities (dummy me) to see if issue exists in SKype only by default ...
Skype version we using at work is: 4.1.32.141 installed from Skype Business MSI package.
at home is latest something (can confirm once i get there).

Does this issue occur when the camera is installed in UVC Mode?
Thanks.

quickcam 9000 Pro was tested with a clean install of LWS 1.0 x64 under XP SP2 x64.
other systems had some earlier driver, but all were uninstalled (quickcam plus camera driver) before installation of new one.
I think problem is related to latest Skype update (4.1) and I may have to revert 1 or 2 machines back to 4.0 to compare.
