Hey guys,
I've just downloded the new MSN messenger 2011 and I cannot get my C300 webcam to work with it!
When I start a video chat my webcam is automatically 'paused' (new Messenger feature; pausing). When I unpause it a grey box appears where I should be seeing a thumbnail of my video feed, but the box just remains grey.
The user on the other end sees the following tip messege in their video window: "I either don't have a webcam or it is not connected"
My C300 worked fine in the previous messenger and works fine in Skype.
My Logitech Webcam Software version is 2.10 Build 13.10.1224
Win 7 x64
i7 920 @ 4.0 ghz
6 Gigs DDR3 @ 1600Mhz
Radeon 5870
1TB 7200rpm HD

@Joshy888,
I tried duplicating your concern but did not succeed.
I did notice that you are overclocking your CPU, have you tried resetting your CPU to stock speed and see if it makes any difference.
Thanks,

Thanks guys. The guide provided is not for the latest version of windows live messenger nor the logitech software.
New development:
Today I started a video convo, and unlike my first post, this time my video was displaying and the other user could see me and I could see my thumbnail video BUT they could not hear me talk.
I then quit messenger and re-opened it to restart the video convo and everything reverted back to how I described in my first post; No video from my end but they could hear me.
It's as if windows live messenger is only letting me use one feature or the other? Voice or video and not both. I am wondering if this is some sort of auto detection feature based on the internet connection quality for the new messenger

@Joshy888,
Please visit faq 20375 and see if it addresses your problem and you may also want to check that the party you are chatting checks their settings as well.
Thanks,
-PedroC
