I have a Logitech webcam c615 connected to a MiniMac with OS X 10.6.8 . When on a video call it changes to robotic audio for the recipient without warning, and apparently randomly, at some time into the call. This is remedied by unplugging the USB jack from the hub and reconnecting immediately. It seems to reset and is OK for a while. Is this a fault with the c615 software or this version of OS X.

Hi redleif,
To correctly identify and isolate the issue, please consider the following questions:
- Does it only happen on a live video feed? Can you replicate the issue in your computer's native sound recorder?
- What is the Instant Messenger that you have been using with the camera? Does it have any settings to correct the problem?
- Are you using the webcam with or without Logitech Webcam Software installed?
...a class compliant driver supplied by the OS is automatically implemented if used without any software installed, which is ideal to isolate the issue. If it is also possible, try to check its sound recording function in another computer.
Warm Regards,
