SKYPE crashes on webcam test

I just installed Webcam Fusion successfully. When I test it in SKYPE I see good video in the test-window but microsoft/skype reports that a problem has been encountered and must close. Skype and the fusion camera keep operating as long as I don't action the close window. I have not tested the camera on a live Skype vid-call yet. I have latest versions of Skype and Camera software.
Anyone else experienced this? Thanks Bern.

Re: SKYPE crashes on webcam test

Yes I did read it thanks. I was just endeavouring to find out if other Fusion camera users on this forum had experienced the same problem as me, and perhaps had an explanation. I was not seeking counsel from Logitech.
Sorry if this is an inappropriate use of the forum.
Bern.

Re: SKYPE crashes on webcam test

More likely it would be an issue with the QuickCam software than with the Fusion model hardware...but since this is a Skype-related issue, I would contact Skype Support first.

Thanks.
