I am new to the webcam experience but teach online and have what may be a silly question: Is it possible to capture a Skype conversation with QuickCam Pro 9000 as a video file for use later, and if so, how (or where are there directions on how to go about it)? I need to interview some experts in the field of my course (with their entire consent) for transmission at a later time to online students.

In order to perform this task, third-party software will be required.
Thanks.

PBE asks -
is there any way to tell which of these would do the trick with a Skype feed, or are any of the ones listed that advertise themselves as enabling video capture equally able to handle that particular task?
Please contact the third-party software vendor directly for assistance with this issue.
Thanks.

Try IMCapture for Skype. It records audio and video conversations in different formats and in a high quality.
