Webcam Pro 9000; Windows 7; Picture storage

Webcam Pro 9000; Windows 7; M/N V-U0009. Where are my pictures stored? The FAQs refer only to Quickcam. I can not find any Quickcam on my computer. They say the pictures are in My Pictures. They show file locations which I don't have. The only program I can find on my computer is Logitech Vid HD. I can make and receive calls with Skype and take pictures with no problem, but the only pictures I can find are in the Skype gallery and it won't let me do anything with them except delete them. I have never been able to log into Vid HD, including trying just a minute ago. I am totally confused.

Re: Webcam Pro 9000; Windows 7; Picture storage

It took some hunting, but I think I found what you want: C:\Program Files (x86)\Logitech\LWS\Webcam Sof [rest is truncated].  The file version is 13.0.1774.0.  Date modified is shown as 07-May-10.  Perhaps the fact that I’ve never been able to actually log on to Logitech Vid HD may indicate that I haven’t been receiving any notice about updates.  I don’t know why I haven’t been able to log on.  I’ve tried every combination of ID and password I can think of.  My recollection is that I got messages at least some of the time saying that my e-mail address is not valid, but it is valid – I use it nearly every day.

I just noticed for the first time that I have two Logitech icons on the desktop: Logitech Vid HD and Logitech Webcam.  I never noticed the latter before.  I just brought that up and can see that I have no pictures in it at all.  It appears to me that the photos taken with Skype are stored somewhere (who knows where?) and that the Logitech Webcam software can’t access them.  If I could, my immediate problem would be solved.  It seems crazy that two systems using the same hardware can’t apparently talk to one another when it comes to pictures.

Sorry it took me nearly a day to reply, but I’ve been out running errands all day.
