Hello!
I have recently bought a Logitech HD webcam C270 and installed it on my computer. I'm using Windows XP Home Edition with Service Pack 3. When I'm using Skype (version 5.8.0.158) or Gmail, I have problems enabling the camera for video communication - I keep getting the message "Can't start video. Try closing other programs that might be using your webcam." I have tried reinstalling both camera and Skype and uninstalling some programs that might be causing problems but nothing helped. Please give me some instructions on what to do to be able to use your product. Thank you!

Hello Ivana,
If you have applications in your start up folder that can make use of a camera this can cause a conflict that would result in your issue. You would need to exit these or prevent them from starting when you boot your computer. If you have the Logitech Webcam Software installed, do you see an image in Quick Capture?
