Video Chat Applications (Non-Logitech)

I just bought a new c110 but it will not work with skype or other programs.It will lock up the computor when I attempt to use messneger or skype ,etc,and it doesnt allow the gallery feature or video playback to operate.It does show an image on screen and the sound is ok but as for operating as a webcam it has failled miserably.

Please provide your operating system version. Do you see any error notifications? This issue could be caused by having more than one application open at the same time that can make use of the C110. I have posted two links below that may be helpful.

Hi, I bought the c110 today and though the camera works fine when i open it with my comp, Skype will not recognize it. It doesn't load with skype or even give me the error message you're talking about. It just keeps loading and the green camera light never comes on. I'm on Windows 7 operating system and I downloaded the full install. Can you help me?

I would suggest contacting Logitech Customer Care for your region directly, if you are still experiencing this issue with your C110 web camera.

in answer to a person that his c110 will not function as a webcam. By trial and error i found that if your cam is on quick capture no other program can access it . Leave your cam off then other programs can access it
