Video Chat Applications (Non Logitech)

hello,

i have one problem with logitech camera and mesenger.

i use notebook, vista service pac 2.

i upgraded mesenger last version.

i use logitect WEBCAM M/N : V-UBS47

P/N: 860-000010

after last version windows live mesenger, i cannot use webcam.

i clicked mesenger ,video calling or show webcam

mesenger alerted webcam dont work.

other program ,skype show my webcam.

but i or my wife or my all friends use mesenger.

my wife stay my country and i stay other country  for job.

i need mesenger.

how i can solve this problem

problem is continuing .

i know your advice and i have tried already.

i am trying my problem again,

1- when i try mesenger sound and webcam equipmen, but mesenger show tihs type, webcam cannot work.

2-when i try mesenger tools / camera, but mesenger alerted same, webcam cannot work.

3-when i chat with any person, i tried  video call or webcam, mesenger alerted mesenger cannot operate camera\

also i tried logitect setting, logitect select aplication , show, skype,gmail,logitect vid,sightspeed, but dont show mesenger

please helping solve to tihs problem
