In my case, I don't necessarily need to be a partner. I'm a home-hobbyist. I love the quick cam orbit MP, and i think from a personal level, it could help me in a few automation endeavors. i have no intentions to sell or give away my little side-projects.
in my case, i was thinking of using the power of the cam, and making a little .Net-based API for it to interface with either my AI project, or some aspx site hosted locally for me, and family to be able to link in any time they wanted. (unfortunately, .. none of the IM apps out there right now, give that sorta freedom)
would i still have to apply/pay to be a partner?
