Hi. I've just boug the Quickcam Deluxe for Notebooks and am running Leopard 10.5.5. I had a look at my video image in the Skype preferences, and I appear quite dark in there. It seems to me RightLight is not working. I have read elsewhere that it should be enabled by default in Leopard but this does not seem to be the case here. Any help/info? Thanks a lot.

Hi. I've had a look there already but did not find any information. Do you need to see a screen capture? I'm not sure how helpful this would be. Basically, I'm dark, the background is light. I have an overhanging light in the room, bit behind me. But looking at the example photos of RightLight 2, the webcam should surely be able to not make me appear very dark? Also, I don't know how to make a screen capture, as I cannot install any Logitech software. All I have here is Skype, which doesn't seem to be able to do that.
Thanks a lot for your help.

Thanks for that disappointing info. I have an Apple laptop, hence I don't think that camera will fit properly at the top of my thin laptop screen. I'm surprised that that is the only camera which provides proper light control for Mac users. Suppose I'll just have to get some front lighting on my face then...
