C310 Webcam not working

I have installed and re-installed the software for the camera and I still can't the thing to work.  The green light on the camera does not come on and there is no picture on the screen,  just black.  Does anyone have any ideas as to what could be causing my problem?  Thanks

1) What is the 860-xxxxxx (or 8xxxxx) series number from the camera's identification tag (FAQ #3427), or preferably, its USB\VID ID?

2) What Operating System (OS) and Service Pack (SP) version is installed?

I am using Windows 7 64bit and my USB/VID ID is USB\VID_046D&PID_081B&REV_0010&MI_00

Does this issue occur when the camera is installed in UVC Mode?
