It installed fine and was working for a week or so up until it crashed one day in the middle of taking a picture in the software and it hasn't opened since and I get this everytime: http://gyazo.com/c8443f493d9b18dd62999ce36eb13122
I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling and get the same thing. Not sure what needs to be deleted exactly to fix this.

This problem is of long duration. Logitech apparently: a) can't figure it out. It is just too difficult or b) refuses to correct the problem because they are invested in the Windows platform. Either way, not good for Mac users.
I installed the camera software and when I start it up I get:
QUESTION: "IS THIS THE EXPERIENCE LOGITECH WANTS ME TO HAVE?"
This camera is like having a Ferrari with a malfunctioning 54 Edsel engine.
I will never buy anything else from Logitech again.... EVER....!

hello,
same problem here: I have Snow Leopard on one iMac and Lion on a Mac Mini.
Under Lion the software crashes everytime after first install but on the SL it seems to be stable and does work OK.
What is it with Logitech that they do not help when one of their products does not work?![]()
I have recently purchased three Logitech products for my Macs, but all of them have had initial problems that are mainly related to the way Apple 'codes' in their hard-and software (e.g. keyboards and webcams)
COME ON LOGITECH BOFFINS, sort out the teething problems or warn your customers that your products only work on Microsoft OS... ![]()

Hello all,
I cannot get any help from LOGITECH.
I wrote to Logitech Support and got the following reply from them:
Thank you for contacting Logitech's Customer Care.
My name is DK, and I will be happy to assist you with your concern.
From your email, I understand that your webcam software always crashes on your MAC computer.
Unfortunately, with regards to the use of our product on an Apple Mac we are unable to assist you via email and must direct you to contact our phone support.
Please find below the phone number and opening hours for our phone support:
Phone: +1 646-454-3200
Monday - Friday: 6am - 6pm PST
Saturday - Sunday: 7am - 5pm PST
Our apologies, that we were unable to help you with your question.
Since I live in France it isn't easy to phone them on an US phone!!!
Just some teccie who does not want to commit himself to a real problem area ...
That is what one gets from Window boffins: no help or solution at all. I also saw that there is the same issues going on with Log Vid that crashes on Lion ( see other thread in this forum).
What a poor performance by LOGITECH!!!!
I see that nobody from Logi has replied to any posting on this thread: maybe they all had the sack?![]()

Bonjour to everybody,
I can see that this thread has gone very quiet: let's get going again in 2012: a Happy New Year to all![]()
I have had news from Logi that the software maybe updated (-graded) in the second quarter of this year!
That is not a promise it is an estimated target date by the developers: so, let us wait an see.
Surely the SW will be available before the next OS X update!!
Best wishes

Hi,
it is me again : just to let you all know that there is now another thread on this forum trying to solve this issue but although it says "Solution found" there is no solution really available except installing an old version of some qt Nokia (???) software environment!!!
Does this mean that Nokia wrote the LWS for the C910 and that there are no OS X programmers working on this product?
Bad news for the ones who believed and bought a non-working piece of hard- and software.
(sorry for all the ! marks used)
Greetings from sunny and cold France.

HI All!
I'm new to the forum and I finally found here some news about this webcam that completely stopped to work after I have upgraded my mac mini from snow leopard to lion.
I'm really surprised to read about the behaviour of Logitech and this kind of missing support and for sure I will never buy in the future a product branded Logitech, even for my Windows based PCs.
Bye to Everyone!

Hello all frustrated users of Logitech,
there is nothing anybody can do to make it work: the software is written using a Nokia owned coding and SDK environment that only works well under Windows. So, unless they Logitech's boys write the software from scratch again for the Mac, there will be no solution! It was lucky it works on SL 10.6.xx
Still, give them the benefit of the doubt.....
best wishes and good luck....

VERY disappointed in the unprofessionalism at Logitech. I got about 10 minutes of use out of the C910. Upgrading to 10.6.8 instantly caused the C910 to be worthless. The product was unstable from its inception and lacked controls to make it work properly (ie white balancing).
