I bought a Microsoft Lifecam Studio, but the native software doesn't have the ability to record in 640x480.  Grrrrr....

Does the Logitech C920 come with software that enables recording in 640x480.  

I'd like the higher lens quality of the newest camera, but I am recording for a video blog and can't use widescreen.

One of the issues I have with the Microsoft LifeCam Studio is that the recording quality (because of the software controls) via the camera's included software is much better than what I saw, for example, in Camtasia.

I'm concerned that this will be a problem for the Logitech camera as well - i.e. the 640x480 images that I get with 3rd party software will be washed out compared to the wrong dimensional but better quality images from the camera's own software.

Do you think this is a concern?  Is there anything I can do to mitigate this?
