Re: Can I turn off red LED

papadruid sez -

I tested it and the values of 0 and 8 do turn it on and off respectively.  But as I mentioned, I had to add the key as it was not in the registry.

What happens if you change the Data Value to 0x00000005 (5)?

Thanks.

Re: Can I turn off red LED

[ Edited ]

I was just trying this mod out. Unfortunatly I have not been able to get it to work yet. I added a dword named LVUVC_LEDControl since I did not already have it and left the value at 0. But the LED still operates.

Setting it to 5 does nothing either. Oh and I have been unplugging and re plugging in the cammera after every attempt.

Re: Can I turn off red LED

Welcome to the Logitech Community Webcam Forum SubGuy! :smileyhappy:

1) What is the 8xxxxx (or 860-xxxxxx) series number from the camera's identification tag (FAQ #3427), or preferably... the USB\VID ID?

2) Which version of the Logitech supplied QuickCam software application/drivers is installed (FAQ #5105)?

3) What Operating System (OS) and Service Pack (SP) version is installed?

Thanks.

Hi there!

I have the same problem as Subguy, no registry value and adding it myself doesn't do the trick.. here's my info :

1. USB\VID_046D&PID_0994

2. V12.10.1113.0000

3. XP Pro x64: 5.2.3790  -  SP2
