Capture on C310 doesn't work

Hi everyone,
I bought a C310 HD camera recently, and it works fine with Skype, but when I use its official software (Logitech Webcam Software), there is a problem. When I go to Quick Capture section, and when I press the button to shoot a picture, it counts 3-2-1 and then says "Capture failed". The capture doesn't work! Just for the record, the capture works fine in Skype, so I guess this is a software issue.
Oh and btw. I already tried reinstalling the software, and I tried it with both the software I got on CD that came with the camera, as well as the latest software downloaded from the Logitech web.
Can someone help me, please?

What Operating System (OS) and Service Pack (SP) version is installed?

Hi guys,
sorry for the delay, I was kinda busy the last few days. ![]()
Anyway, I tried the clean install, but it still fails to capture image on Windows 7. However, I have a Windows XP Virtual machine and I tried the XP version on it and it works perfectly. I don't know, it might even be something to do with some other programs I have installed on Windows 7 (my WinXP VM is just pure Windows, practically nothing else installed), maybe there's a collision of some sort, even though I followed the "clean" installation instructions thoroughly. But its hard to know, the possibilities are practically limitless.
I will check a few other options when I have some extra time, and if I find out anything, I'll let you know.
