I have been searching and searching for an answer to my issue and to no avail. O/S is Windows XP service pack 3. I have installed, uninstalled, and reinstalled my webcam numerous times. Whenever the camera is connected to the computer the audio for the computer is scratchy, even normal computer sounds. Once I disconnect the camera the sound for the computer is normal.
The only time that the camera actually worked was after I had restarted my computer under a "clean boot". After I reset the startup to "Normal" the scratchy audio came back.
Please help! I would greatly appreciate it.
