Last Month I purchased a new C920 to use with my HP dc7900 SFF PC.
I am running Windows7 64Bit (not that that makes a difference).
With the camera hooked up, the computer will not POST. It will not even get to the point where you can enter the BIOS.
Disconnecting the camera and doing a hard power cycle, the computrer boots, but complains of CMOS errors and needs to be fixed.
This problem happens on three dc7900's that I have tried it on.
I did enter BIOS and diabled "Boot from USB". That did not help.

Hi,
There appears to be a compatibility issue between the C920 and the HP dc7900, I would suggest connecting the camera to a different USB port. If you currently have it connected in the front, please try connecting it to the back of the computer or vice versa and see if that makes any difference.
Thanks,

I had the same problem with the HP 7900's.
I resolved it by updating the BIOS to the latest version v1.26.
All working now.
