Do I need to reinstall Quickcam Software

I have an Ultravision camera installed on my PC, with 11.5 drivers. But now I want to unplug my Ultravision and use my new Pro 9000. Can I just plug it in using the existing QuickCam software on my computer, or do I need to uninstall/reinstall the software again?

Thanks!

Oh, and as an aside, is it at all possible to run both cameras on the same computer?

Re: Do I need to reinstall Quickcam Software

Just plug the QCP 9000 in and you should be good to go.

Do you mean simultaneous operation of both cameras?

Thanks.

Re: Do I need to reinstall Quickcam Software

Thanks,it worked. Much appreciated.

And yes, I was also wondering (as an experiment) if they could be used simultaneously (if other 3rd party software allows it?) Not that I want/need to run them both at the same time, but it was just a thought...

Re: Do I need to reinstall Quickcam Software

QuickCam allows you to select one of two possible cameras. (Ref: FAQ #5343 - Advanced Settings -> Camera Selector)

As you mention, third-party software will be required for simultaneous camera operation.

Thanks.
